For our Office in Windhoek<\/strong>, we are looking for a dynamic Product Assistant <\/strong>to join our Product Division<\/strong>. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading Destination Management Company renowned for crafting unique and memorable travel experiences across Southern Africa.<\/p>

As a Product Assistant<\/strong>, you will report directly to the Head of Product<\/strong>, with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h6>

– Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers.
– Request and manage rates, API information, and other essential data from suppliers.
– Checking of supplier rates and information and do a year-on-year comparison.
– Collaborate with the Terra Nova Sales Team to address rate queries.
– Perform routine system maintenance as required.
– Setting up of supplier training sessions, product presentations and site inspections.
– Organising of educational trips\/ workshops for the Sales Team.
– Assisting with the planning of Agent Familiarisation trips.
– Compiling of agent documentation as required.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u2013 Maintain a clear, concise, and effective communication style with clients, Management, and the team.

Requirements<\/strong><\/h6>

– Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Travel Industry.
\u2013 In-depth knowledge of Southern African tourism destinations.
– A service-focused approach with the ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines.
\u2013 A proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
\u2013 Strong communication and organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
– Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both clients and suppliers.
\u2013 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proven track record in use thereof.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
