I was born and raised in Munich, Germany. After completing my studies in tourism in Munich, I worked in several travel agencies and incentive houses. Following a holiday in South Africa, I fell in love with the country and decided to move there. I love Africa, and showing my clients what the continent has to offer is what makes me happy. Dealing with different people from various walks of life all the time is something I enjoy. I also love learning about new products and destinations, so I am constantly on the move.
I began my career in the hotel industry in 1986 in Johannesburg and later moved to Cape Town, where I continued working in hotels before transitioning to Incentive Travel in 1997. I have a deep appreciation for Southern Africa due to its rich tapestry of stories, amazing people, diverse flavours, vibrant colours, and beloved wildlife. I am drawn to the strong sense of community, the remarkable people with generous hearts, the positivity, creativity, natural talent for song and dance, compassion, resilience, and above all, the incredible sense of humour.
